When Do You Start Showing Pregnancy?

When do you start showing pregnancy? Pregnancy is a pretty big event in any woman’s life. It’s an exciting and emotional time where you look forward to the arrival of your new baby. But before you get to meet your adorable newborn, there’s still plenty of work to be done. From learning what to expect with your pregnancy week by week, all the way up until after delivery.

It is happening with their bodies that they weren’t expecting. Some women might not see these changes right away- it can take as long as 20 weeks before there are noticeable changes, such as having a bump! Some people may also have different reactions to these changes, so it’s important to know what to expect when you’re expecting

When Do You Start Showing Pregnancy?

Although every woman will have a different experience during their nine months, most women will spot the signs of being pregnant about 6-8 weeks after conception. Why? Once your body has absorbed the fertilized egg cell, it begins producing hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), a hormone that your body usually produces during early pregnancy. Some women may notice these symptoms within the first week of conception, whereas others may spot them late. So how do you know for sure?

These Are Some Common Early Pregnancy Signs:

1) Implantation Bleeding

During implantation, the fertilized egg will attach to your uterine wall. As the fertilized egg attaches, it will cause the lining of the uterus to shed away. The shedding off of this tissue is what causes “implantation bleeding”.

2) Frequent Urination

Your body will usually produce more urine during pregnancy because you have more blood circulating through your entire body.

This increased blood flow is needed to deliver more nutrients and oxygen to the baby.

Another reason for frequent urination is that the body produces more hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin). This hormone is responsible for creating the corpus luteum, which is a hormone that makes way for progesterone.

3) Tenderness of Lower Back and Breasts

For many women experiencing early pregnancy symptoms, the tenderness and enlargement of their breast tissue are only noticed once or twice a week.

4) Changes in Appetite

During pregnancy, your body will need more nutrients because it’s growing another human being! So if you’re noticing that certain foods don’t taste as good as they used to, there’s a reason for it. Your body is now slowly adjusting to accommodate your baby’s nutritional needs.

5) Morning Sickness

Morning sickness is another early pregnancy symptom that most women will experience around the 8th week of pregnancy. It happens due to a rise in hormone levels, affecting how you perceive food smells and tastes. Moms may want to do their research on different home remedies for morning sickness!

The most common remedy is eating ginger, which might help soothe your nausea.

6) Fatigue

One of the most significant early pregnancy symptoms moms will face during their nine months is fatigue or a noticeable lack of energy. It’s important to remember that you are growing a human being inside you during this stage of pregnancy! Be sure to get plenty of sleep and take it easy during this time.

7) Cramping

Cramps can be another symptom of the early stages of pregnancy, particularly around the 10th-week mark. For some women, they may find that this only happens occasionally in their first trimester. And remember that cramping is quite normal because your uterus is stretching to make room for the baby!

8) Bloating

Another common early pregnancy symptom that should clear up during the first trimester. This bloating will be more apparent in their stomach and chest area than anywhere else on their bodies for many moms. This may also lead to some heartburn, which can cause moms difficulty in keeping food down.

9) Other Early Pregnancy Symptoms to Watch Out for Include Heart Palpitations

Other symptoms like white or pink vaginal discharge, and headaches. But it’s important not to worry yourself too much about these signs if you experience them in the first trimester; odds are they’ll pass as your body grows accustomed to the changes that come with pregnancy.

It’s Also Important to Remember That Having a Few of These Early Pregnancy Symptoms Doesn’t Necessarily Mean That You Are Pregnant

Mainly if they go away after two weeks or so. Your period may be late (or it might have happened and been mistaken for a heavier flow than usual), but more often than not, what you’re experiencing is a case of pregnancy neurosis.

It’s always best to make sure, however, so be sure you take a pregnancy test if your period doesn’t show up after two weeks!
